We are the family of four behind The Books for Walls Project. We visited the lovely Letters to the Children of Troy back in May and our daughters (7 and 11) fell in love with Troy Public Library. We decided to work hard this summer to support the library and help the August 2nd election succeed.

Last week a man, calling himself “John”, posted a comment about the book burning party –the girls were confused and sad, the thought of burning books devestated them. So we began to research for our Save Troy Library Tuesday tomorrow –we feel much better and trust that citizens will vote YES on August 2nd and this threatened book burning party won’t have the chance to light a match 😉
