Our case is quite Unique as we are the only publicly funded Independent library and have been thus for 111 years. We have 44% of the local community as active members and are run by and for the community at 50% of the costs of most London libraries, however funding has been cut and closure could happen after 31 March as Croydon seek to outsource libraries at costs far higher than UNs.
