IT CAN’T BE BACKED UP WITH MORE RESOURCES. Councils have taken a 28% reduction in their budgets. There are more cuts to come. That means less money for libraries. Doing things for less? Janene Cox is dead right. Those who deny this, in increasingly shrill voices, are sounding more and more divorced from reality every day.
