Alongside this annual investment we also have a bursary grant programme for library staff in Wales. However, as you rightly say, there are authorities which are having to make very difficult decisions so we cannot claim that it’s all wonderful here in Wales. I just need to correct something in the list you quote – the £230,000 is for libraries, museums and archives, and the library aspect of this is listed as #6 (£150,000). I’m not sure if that’s the full list of grants – I think a few are missing eg South East Wales partnership.
