					<description><![CDATA[I agree with your comments about Devon Libraries - the situation is very serious.  A number of interested groups and individuals in Devon have formed an email network SAVE DEVON LIBRARIES in order to share information and ideas and would welcome emails from anyone who lives in a community in Devon where the library is threatened with closure.

We are all agreed that totally volunteer libraries would not work in most Devon communities because the libraries are too small and the communities in question cannot produce enough volunteers, however we do not object to sustainable support by communities to keep the libraries open during the present funding crisis in Devon.]]></description>
