Just on research relating to rhyme times (the email featured in your editorial this week, questioning whether there is any evidence of the impact of rhyme times).  

Elizabeth Washbrook and Jane Waldfogel&#039;s 2010 study for the Sutton Trust &quot;Cognitive gaps in the early years&quot; has been cited often, in particular their finding that:

&quot;A child taken to the library on a monthly basis from ages 3 to 5 is two and a half months ahead of an equivalent child at age 5 who did not visit the library so frequently.&quot;
