It’s only been “soft launched” recently, with the plan being to promote it more in the New Year; but members of both Library Services/Authorities can now borrow and return to all libraries in both counties (if they’ve agreed to their data being shared across institutions), and can reserve items from the other authority for a £1 charge whether or not they share their data (the customer’s details come up as “BLOCKED” on the book’s home library system, with only the destination library visible to the member of staff processing the reservation).
