I also think it would be great if more special libraries got on board as the day has now become a week’s worth of celebrations so perfect for promoting your own service and highlighting your local public library at the same time. School librarians don’t need much of an excuse to join in so we are holding another Guinness World Record attempt … this time a book swap on the Friday. There’s almost 70 schools signed up from across the UK so expect a lot of books to be swapped!
