The world is a poorer place without him.
I used to be embarrassed that I spent my childhood from the age of 9 in one of the safest Tory seats in the country. Then I heard Terry Pratchett talk about what he owed the local public library he&#039;d been to as a child. Now I&#039;m proud to have grown up borrowing books from Beaconsfield Library, the same library that Terry Pratchett borrowed books from.
