Interesting editorial, as always, which I mainly agree with except it does not acknowledge the challenge posed by the complaining customer who cannot tell the difference between &quot;quiet&quot; &#038; &quot;silent&quot; nor the small but vocal minority of older customers who do not want children (especially teens) in the library &#038; use noise as the pretext for their prejudice.
Such customers do not respond well to the sensible compromises you outline in the article complaining it infringes their right to use the library when &#038; where they want, without considering their actions do the same to many others
We should not allow a tiny minority of vocal complainants to dictate policy for the whole]]></description>
