The dust motes from many, cobwebby volumes sparkle in the shafts of ancient sunlight and all around you the oaken shelves are packed with books, books that glow, books that positively fizz with wisdom, magic and forgotten lore!]]></description>

The underlying information skills remain the same but the tools used are much, much better, computers have revolutionised information science not destroyed it. Libraries have a bright future if they adapt, the core principles (learning, literacy, access to information &#038; community) stay the same but the delivery methods, and public expectation, has changed.]]></description>
