When Anne Robinson had a column in the Daily Mirror she wrote a crazy attack on public libraries based on one unhappy visit to her local one (out of date, should be closed down, etc.). Needless to say, no reply. Anne Robinson cannot, therefore, be trusted when dealing with public libraries. Like all celebrity journalists she only really wants publicity for herself and does not care about public services.
